2 coconuts

half a chicken (500-800g)

8 red dates

a few wolfberries

2-3 cups water / chicken stock

salt to taste


  1. Chop the chicken into small pieces. Blanch and rinse with clean water before setting aside. Remove the coconut meat from the shells and set aside the coconut water. Cut the coconut meat into strips. Wash the red dates and wolfberries before setting them aside.
  2. Place the chicken, coconut meat, and red dates into the Visions 3.5L Stockpot. Add enough water/chicken stock to cover the ingredients. Using the World Kitchen Smart Pot, turn the knob to “Soup” function. Press the touch screen on the knob to start cooking. The time can be adjusted according to the amount of ingredients used or personal preference. The adjustable range is 1 to 12 hours.
    The default cooking time on this mode is 120 minutes, which is adjustable by pressing the “timer” button.
  3. The cooking status will display on the screen with a red light on the knob.
  4. Add the coconut water and wolfberries once it has cooked for 90 minutes. Cover well.
  5. Season with salt to taste 10 minutes before cooking is complete.
  6. Serve in a Corelle bowl and savour the aromatic flavour.
